This Fall we will be embarking on a 24-week study of the Gospel of Matthew.

We will start this study on Wednesday, Sept. 25th from 6 pm to 8 pm. We will be meeting in the St. Cecilia Parish Center - Fireside Room.

Why study the Gospel of Matthew? In this study, you will:

1. See how Jesus fulfills God's promises to Israel and establishes his earthly kingdom.
2. Understand the references to the Old Testament promises of God to his people and the messages God sent them through the prophets.
3. Be given the key to understanding the rest of the New Testament and Christ as the fulfillment of God's plan.

What do I need to bring to the weekly bible study? 

• A bible 
  • Revised Standard Version  (RSV) translation- preferrably the Catholic edition
  • Or the New American Bible (NAB)  translation
• Workbook (optional)
• Can be purchased at the beginning of class.
  • Workbook costs ($40)
  • Purchase of workbook through the church includes online access to weekly lecture video
  • Or the Workbook can also be purchased directly from Ascension Press
