Passing the faith down to the next generation? We can help!
At St. Cecilia, we acknowledge the challenges parents face today in forming our children and families in faith and discipleship. Let’s work together to help our youth know and love the Lord, and our families grow in faith and community. Through Family Catechesis, we empower and support Parents to be the primary faith educators of their children!

What do I need to know to get started?
This is a Family Catechesis model giving families the opportunity to grow in their faith life together and become an active part of parish life at St. Cecilia Parish.
The program will consist of...
Faith Together, where we connect, learn, grow, and build disciples. Families learn together in the same gathering with other families, and connect with each other, and other families through catechesis, fellowship, and service.
Information
Faith Together is a program for St. Cecilia Parish families, with children
in grades K-5
Students in gr 2-5 in First Communion preparation must attend BOTH terms of 2-5 Faith Formation and First Communion preparation sessions, and actively participate in BOTH as a requirement of preparation completion, as well as actively attend Sunday Mass
Faith Together families will gather One Sunday a month, starting in October , Community gathering events centered around the Liturgical year, plus opportunities for service days and parish events.
Our Faith is centered around the Mass. So, we are offering sessions on Sunday after 9am Mass. This allows you to easily attend Mass before or after class. Taught in English ( with translation in Spanish as needed. Parent only sessions will be offered in Spanish and English.) The class time includes time for fellowship with other families.
Most gatherings, families will join together in Praise and Worship, prayer, and faith activities to learn while we support parents as the teachers of the faith through lessons, small group activities, in multiple learning styles. Parents will have an active role in the program. Families will be taught in English, with Spanish translation as needed. ( Adult lessons will be taught with options in English and Spanish)
