The Pastoral Council of St. Cecilia Church is the pastoral planning body for the parish. The council develops both long and short range priorities for the pastoral ministry in the parish, and then makes recommendations to the Pastor. It's responsibilities include enhancing the spiritual life and educational opportunities of parish members, promoting fellowship and communication within the parish family, and assuring that all parishioners are encouraged and given an opportunity to participate in all aspects of parish life and the Gospel outreach of St. Cecilia's.
The Parish Pastoral Council is made up of: the Pastor, Associate Pastor, and a Parish Staff Representative; the remaining nine members are appointed from the parish at large to serve a three year term.
Meetings are generally held on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the Parish Center. They begin at 6:30 PM and generally last about two hours. All meetings are open to all interested members of the parish.
If any parishioner has questions or comments (good and bad) concerning the parish, we encourage you to attend a meeting or contact a council member.
