On Saturday, March 2, the Portland Chapter of Young Catholic Professionals welcomed over 200 young adults to their annual Lenten Retreat at Mount Angel Abbey led by Archbishop Alexander Sample. This marked not only the largest YCP Portland event in its 6-year history but the largest retreat ever hosted by any of the 40 YCP chapters across the country.
On March 3rd, 2024, Archbishop Joseph Augustine Di Noia, Adjunct Secretary of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith conferred the Ministry of Acolyte in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at The Pontifical North American College, Vatican City State, on Nicholas Anthony Martell of the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon, along with 24 other seminarians.
