The effect of the sacrament of Confirmation is the full outpouring of the Holy Spirit, as once granted to the apostles on the day of Pentecost.  (CCC 1302)

This Confirmation program is intended for incoming freshmen to incoming seniors.
Already graduated seniors are invited to attend RCIA in English or Spanish instead.

Confirmation Requirements:

1. Register online.
2. Submit a copy of your baptismal certificate to Amanda Jewett at the parish office (you are not fully registered until this is completed.)
3. Attend all of the required sessions. (One absence of each [Alpha, Confirmation Class, and Gathered in His Name] is allowed.)
4. Select a saint and a sponsor.
5. Continue a full, active, conscious participation in the life of the Church!

Sessions:

• Alpha: You can read more about Alpha here.
• Confirmation Class: In these four hour-long classes, we will dive into the sacrament of Confirmation and discuss catechesis and theology around the sacraments and the Catholic Church.
• Gathered in His Name: This is a monthly 3 hour "retreat" for our high schoolers. In addition to providing in-person fellowship, teens will have the ability to go to the 5 pm Saturday Vigil Mass together, receive the sacrament of Reconciliation, hear a reflection, and spend time before Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.
• Life Teen and Virtual Youth Group (optional): We gather together in a light-hearted way, playing games, asking questions, participating in activities and discussion, and going over a very brief lesson on a relevant topic.

• Clases de Confirmación: En los cuatro clases de un hora, nos sumergiremos en el sacramento de la Confirmación y discutiremos la catequesis y la teología en torno a los sacramentos y la Iglesia Católica.
• Reunidos en Su Nombre: Este es un "retiro" mensual de 3 horas para nuestros estudiantes de secundaria. Además de brindar compañerismo en persona, los adolescentes tendrán la posibilidad de asistir juntos a la misa de vigilia del sábado a las 5 pm, recibir el sacramento de la reconciliación, escuchar una reflexión y pasar tiempo ante Cristo en el Santísimo Sacramento.
• Life Teen y Grupo Juvenil Virtual (opcional): Nos reunimos de una manera alegre, jugando, haciendo preguntas, participando en actividades y discusiones, y repasando una lección muy breve sobre un tema relevante.
